We Aim to Please

The umbrella stroller has been sitting open on the front porch for the past couple of days, instead of being folded up as usual. Predictably, Elegant Cat discovered it, and now it's a kitty lounge chair. "You wanted something?"

So how long did it take him/her to claim the chair. It would have taken ours about five minutes.

Too cute. One of my cats will claim any human seat if possible. That looks properly cat-size.

He's lovely! Yeah, ours would be on that like a duck on a june-bug. Every time we leave Pumpkinpie's little armchair unfilled by a pillow or bear, he cuddles up in there too.

How's the cat/toddler bathroom sink situation coming? Maybe if the toddlers share the stroller with the cat, then the cat will share the bathroom with the toddlers. :)

AWww. I used to have a cat that looked a lot like that. She was very dainty and we considered her "elegant" too...

That is too adorable! Our cat likes to sit in the lounge chairs on our deck and when we come outside to use the $150 chairs, he looks at us like we are crazy! Cats cats cats----they really are funny little animals!

Oooh! Our kitty loves all baby things. She sleeps in the Boy Terror's bed all day, and only stays out when we shut the door. BT loves yelling, oh his way to bed "Get out my bed, Titty! My turn!" Yes, he calls her titty.

Granny: Probably about that. He is a cat, the ultimate hedonist species.

Anon: It's toddler-size - which is to say cat-sized - and means that the next toddler who sits in it will emerge with a backside liberally coated with black fur. That's okay: it will all get scrubbed off by the sand at the park.

Kittenpie: He is lovely. He's also thirteen, an elderly cat, but you'd never know it. Only lately have I noticed a certain stiffness in one hip as he climbs or descends stairs.

Kimmyk: He always has that look. Except when he's got the "you are annoying me, go away" look.

ScSM: Where they sat wouldn't be a problem if a) they acknowledged your superior right to sit there, and would vacate when you approached, and b) didn't leave half their backside's hair on the chair...

AverageMom: LOL "Titty". Of course he does.

"My turn": Seems the boy has figured out his place in the heirarchy: after the cat's done with it, he gets a go!
